5. Suitability

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are suitably equipped, adequately fit and experienced to undertake the activity you are booking. You must inform us in advance of any medical conditions, allergies and/or special requirements, dietary or otherwise that could affect your participation in any activity.

6. Insurance

We strongly recommend that you purchase adequate travel and cancellation insurance to cover you for your activity. If we make a change which involves additional expenditure by you, you have the right to cancel with a full refund of any monies paid to Lake District Guiding.

If any course or holiday does not have the minimum number of participants to make it viable we are entitled to cancel it and give you a full refund of any monies paid to Lake District Guiding. We will not cancel any course for this reason less than 4 weeks before the start date. Lake District Guiding are not held liable for any additional expenses you incur (e.g. travel expenses, accommodation) through your trip being cancelled.
